some time back i read a quote (don't remember where) by Gandhi ji

"if i had to choose between cowardice and voilence. i'll prefer voilence over cowardice."

I m really confused that a man who always advocated non-voilence could really choose voilence.

I tried to relate different examples to this statement but could not agree or disagree with this statement.

A TRIBUTE TO PREMCHAND

Books are the most sacred, honest and respectful part of life
and i'll dedicate this section of my writing to premchand's novel
which are a treasure for indian society.

Neither am i a person of great knowledge nor do i have a great
poetic sense and it's really difficult for me to mould my feelings into
words . Truly i respect books and one thing i consider very close
to me.

Reading gives me immense satisfaction, contentment and
sense of purity. I have been reading premchand's novel from
last three years and with every new novel my respect and
admiration towards his works grew stronger. It made me
understand that there is a motive behind every peice of writing
and it's the duty of the reader to unveil that motive.

No other hindi writer can beat Premchand's style of writing.
His works are the reflection of his thinking. He observed
and analysed those things that can only be realised after reading
his works.Such a deep observation of the surroundings and such a
true analysis of these observations gives a clear measure of his potential.

His description brings us so close to the characters in his novels that
one cries and laughs with them and can easily relate to them.He had
wonderfully depicted each and every aspect of human nature, life and
surroundings that people are compelled to think about those issues
and problems which would otherwise remain unnoticed.Though his
works relate to the scene of the indian society few years back but
they also imply to the current indian scenario and in a way also
provides solution to many problems.

In his last work "MANGALSUTRA"(which remained incomplete due to his death)
he had very beautifully potrayed human nature.
Here are some of the lines from that novel

These lines are so true and so close to reality still so difficult for a common
man to realise, even more difficult to follow and nearly impossible to
implement.

Rich literature, reality based characters, heartbinding events serve as the food for the soul.

HOPE

hope is the rope that
helps to climb the ladder of desires

hope gives wings
to fly in the sky of dreams

hope is the boat that
helps to sail across the ocean of despair

hope is the light, the sound, the love
and there is

light in every darkness of life

sound in every silence of failure

love in every feeling of hatred.......
